Disclosure of Personal Data to Third Parties

Disclosure occurs only within the framework of statutory regulations, for example to processors according to Art. 28 GDPR or within the scope of official obligations.

Disclosure of Personal Data to Third Parties and Processors

Without your consent, we generally do not disclose data to third parties. If required, disclosure takes place based on the aforementioned legal bases – for example, to fulfil a contract (e.g. payment service providers) or due to a legal obligation (e.g. law enforcement, hazard prevention).

We use external data processors (e.g. web hosting providers). Disclosure is always conducted in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR on a contractual basis. All service providers are carefully selected, regularly monitored, and obliged to implement technical and organizational data protection measures.

Data Transfer to Third Countries

Processing outside the EU/EEA occurs only if the special requirements of Arts. 44 ff. GDPR are met – for example by:

  • an adequate level of data protection (EU Commission decision)
  • standard contractual clauses
  • for US providers: participation in the Privacy Shield (until 2020) or successor frameworks

Deletion of Data and Storage Duration

Personal data is deleted as soon as the purpose ceases – unless statutory retention periods (e.g. § 257 HGB: 6 years, § 147 AO: 10 years) require longer storage. After the deadline, data is blocked or deleted.

Existence of Automated Decision-Making

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
